We are the nowhere generation We are the kids that no one wants We are a credible threat to the rules you set A cause to be alarmed We are not the names that we've been given We speak a language you don't know We are the nowhere generation

Today,as I sat studying geography, a particular line struck me. It was the first line of my textbook. It read "anything that is technologically accessible,economically feasible and culturally acceptable can be termed as resource."

The line definitely provoked deep thoughts in a philosophical mind like mine but two words in particular intrigued me . "Culturally acceptable". What is Culture? Well, it is defined as "an umbrella term which encompasses the social behavior and norms found in human societies, as well as, knowledge, beliefs, arts,customs,and habits of individuals in these groups."

Basically, it forms the very base of humanity and mankind. My generation- the Zillenials are all about being more acceptable. Acceptable to feelings,genders,lifestyle choices,everything. At the same time we come across as an intolerant generation as we are well aware of our rights and therefore we are vocal. We voice our opinions on various platforms. . We are active on social media platforms(most of us are too young to leave home just yet). Hence, our reposts and comments play a major role in electronic protests.

We raise voices on simplest of issues to the most complex of problems. We have an opinion on everything and we are rightly entitled to one. However we zillenials are also restless and we want the change to be quick. Ours is a generation that craves happiness and equity for all. We feel it is our responsibility to fight for those who are mute and it is undoubtedly so. But let's not forget the 'fact' that change takes time and we are making changes whether we realize it or not.

We are the future voters, let our votes speak against leaders oppressing democracy. We are future earners, let our works speak our success stories. We are a smart and sensible generation for we know that actions speak louder that words.

Our generation is new and we are still figuring it out. But let us not forget to be patient. Life will unveil itself eventually just like a theater curatin opening before a Broadway hit. We know it will be spectacular. Anticipation is a part of life and it is what makes our success sweeter. I know for sure that we will figure it out.
