Well hello there! Always happy to meet a new face. It's always good to know that my articles are noticed, and that folks are paying attention. I appreciate you asking such a thoughtful question!

To be honest, when I first started, it was just a job, like any other. I had my passions, I had my motives. It was a way to earn an honest living. And over the years, it's become… well, it's become my path.

There's a quiet satisfaction to it you see. Being out before the rest of the world wakes up, with only the stars for company sometimes, or the first blush of dawn. The air is crisp, the streets are still, and you get to witness everything slowly come to life. You see the seasons change, the frost blanket the group, the first green shoots, the summer haze. Some folks only see it through a window, but I'm out there in the thick of it!

And then there's the paper itself. It's more than just ink on pages, it's a connection in a way. Knowing that folks are relying on you to bring them the stories, the local updates, the crosswords, the classifieds, the truth… it feels important. It's a small but vital link in the chain of our community. People count on my articles to be there, and I'm the one who makes sure, the latest stories gets to their door!

It can be seen as simple path perhaps, but an honest one, and one that connects me to the pulse of our community every single day. No two mornings are exactly alike, even if the route is. And I wouldn't trade that for anything!

In my time, if your referring to the hero of the Rito, then you'd be correct in saying that I would be seen in such a manner. I was the Rito Elder at the time. Who then became the Sage of Wind. To my people I was a hero of a sorts.

But if you're referring to all of Hyrule, that's... complicated to answer.

In my time Rauru sacrificed himself to stop the Demon King's reign of terror, so in many ways he could be seen as a hero.

But if there was someone who could be considered a hero in the way that your describing in my time. Someone who saves others, just because it's right thing to do. Someone who fights for others, and not himself. A single individual "wielding a sword" as you say... yeah there was someone like that.

This Hero single handedly turned the tide of the war to our favour, when things were at their worst. The Rito, myself included are alive because of him. Many people are alive because he swooped in to the save them, from something they couldn't defend against. It's something he did nonstop. Fighting monsters, and saving people was all he did, without any care for his own wellbeing. Rather than wielding a weapon, this hero... in many ways was a weapon. A very dangerous weapon... that decided to fight for our cause.

He... disappeared one day, after the war was over, and no one's seen him since.

The winds of chaos do indeed blow fiercely these days, and I understand your concern, especially with... Revali's current unfortunate predicament.

During that dark time I learned an undeniable truth. In the heart of the storm, panic is the gust that sends you spiraling. To see the path forward, and act with purpose, one must maintain a calm and centered mind. Allowing raw emotion to dictate your actions, will only lead you to make choices that will worsen the very crisis you seek to resolve.
