will you... will you stop wearing black when they make a darker color?
1, 4, 7, 15, 20, 27, 29, 30
Oh man you woke up and chose violence with the amount of these lmao
1. A song you like with a color in the title: "A song you are utterly obsessed with", more like.
4. A song that reminds you of someone you would rather forget about: I have a lot to say about the people and times this pulls up, none of it pleasant.
7. A song to drive to: I heard this a lot in the car growing up, so now listening to it anywhere else makes zero sense. It also reminds me very specifically of looking out the back window at the ocean on the stretch of SH1 between Shag Point and Moeraki.
20:A song that has many meanings to you: Good things, bad things, love, loss, change.
27:A song that breaks your heart: This song has been a faithful companion for many, many years when I have been feeling terrible about... everything.
29. A song that you remember from your childhood: Nana used to sing this one to me when I was little.
30. A song that reminds you of yourself: Hello, I am Depressed™, but trying.
11, 16, 21 for the song meme
11. A song that you never get tired of: The honor has got to go to my favourite song of all time-
16. One of your favorite classical songs: Evil, evil question. I have such an enormous boner for so many classical pieces, but this is probably one of my all-time favourites - I really love the orchestral re-arrangement that was in Fantasia, but it's a complete beast solely on the organ.
21. A favorite song with a person’s name in the title: Honestly, it was between this one and Judith by A Perfect Circle.
5,9,14,20,27
Oh boy some of these are hard, okay lessgo
5. A song that needs to be played LOUD: My gut feeling with this question is this song particularly, however, every Strapping Young Lad song needs to be max volume and ported directly into the centre of my brain (see also: Detox, AAA, Skeksis)
9. A song that makes you happy: Look, it is what it is.
14. A song that you would love played at your wedding: I can genuinely say I've never actually contemplated this before in my life so I'm going to have to get back to you on this one. Probably nothing traditionally wedding appropriate, possibly the entire Klavier album by Rammstein.
20. A song that has many meanings to you: Good, bad, comfortable, uncomfortable, all the stuff in the middle. This song can either break my heart, make everything feel okay, or just numb the shit in my brain.
27. A song that breaks your heart: This version in particular hurts in a very specific way for multiple reasons- parts of it is me, parts of it is Dad. I straight up cannot listen to the original of this song, and I can get about two lines into singing it before my brain just shuts itself off. Extremely important song, but, ouch.

3, 14, 25, 37, 49.
3. Name a subject/topic you know a lot about. Oh man. Nothing with utmost confidence or authority, but so many things that if pressed I will not Shut The Fuck Up about. Nature, plants, animals, natural disasters, man-made disasters, Jane Austen novels, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Dragon Age, Star Wars, Diablo/WOW lore, horror movies, serial killers, mythology, psychology, certain eras of world history. 14. What’s the nicest compliment you’ve ever been given? I'm really uncomfortable with compliments, so they just disappear into the ether like water off a ducks back. I wish I could remember some of them sometimes, but I just don't have the recall. 25. With films in languages you do not speak, do you prefer a dub or a subtitle? Depends. Usually I prefer the subtitles because I like connecting the dots and picking up words in other languages and because I read like lightning I don't miss anything happening on the screen. If it's something I have on for background noise or I'm not glued to it, I prefer the dub. 37. What's the best advice anyone has ever given you? It's not exactly directed at me, but there is a quote in one of my favourite books that pops into my head a lot- "It's a long way back to Eden, Sweetheart, so don't sweat the small stuff." Doesn't fix the anxieties, but it's a near constant reminder. 49. If you chose to get a tattoo what would it be and where would you want it? This is the most impossible question to answer, I have SO MANY ideas. Trees and ferns and vines (ironic given the hayfever/plant allergies), weaponry (right forearm sword), the spinny loading screen symbol from DA:O, the Kirkwall symbol from DA2, moon phases, alchemical elemental symbols on my knuckles, a bow or arrow for my wow main, Hati and Skoll chasing the sun and moon, Rebel/Empire symbols, a whole back piece of Yggdrasil would be amazing, themed pieces for the two dnd characters that are the other parts of me, the Latin word 'mortis' followed by a semicolon. For years I have wanted the song title "Comfortably Numb" on my ribs as a nod to my Dad and my depression. So many.
Which OC do you struggle the most to write/follow, and conversely which do you find the easiest to slip into whenever you need it?
I have very little on paper for any of them, I've tried to write them but it just doesn't happen. I was always better at non-fiction than fiction, which is maddening when I have so many brain-movies swirling about. My actual attempts at fiction tend to read a little: "The cat sat on the mat. It was a brown cat, and the mat was red. It had fish for dinner.". Everything I have for them is stored in the run-down rolodex in the back left corner of my brain warehouse. Rowan is absolutely the easiest to slip into. She's the biggest self-insert, just with a lot more skills and motivation to get shit done. Perks of making a very intense DnD character? Vesna is tricky. She started as dark elf storm sorcerer in ESO, then I ported her out Pathfinder, then into BG3. Things get wonky depending on which iteration of her is present, but ultimately she's the same, it's just the where and how that change how she got where she is. Hawke is easy to find too, but I struggle a bit with detail as I've got that somewhere in a word doc on my old PC in NZ, plus it's been an (Dragon) age since I've really delved into her. I think my Inquisitor is the hardest to find. I've just started re-playing DA:I and finishing things off, and I just have nothing for her, beyond the fact that she's agnostic and is banging Cullen.
ACTUALLY, tell me about your fave WoW bb too!i used to play and now am in FFXIV hell so. spill!
I don't really have a whole lot of headcanon about my wow characters which is surprising! My main is a worgen hunter, never uses human form, prefers bows to guns, always has the black flower crown equipped. Her name is Zëphyrine, so I am she and she is me.
Gilnean to the bone. Specialises in skinning (reduce, reuse, recycle) and herbalism. Always uses the same mount (wolfhawk from the Legion class hall), and the same main pet (Gara). Would sell her own family for one good set of mail armor. Idolizes Thrall and Ysera. Will never kill a target that has young. I feel like she'd be the sort of person to go break someone's legs if they were ever cruel to an animal, and justice is justice no matter the faction. Say what you want about hunters, but I'm good at it, to the point that other classes don't make any bloody sense to me at all. I have learned I can't heal or tank for shit, so I'll stay in my dps lane. My alts hardly get any attention (see above) even though I have several. I think my dwarf ele shaman is my favourite (Gaëa would be a fun bestie for the hunter), followed by my worgen frost mage Cailleách, and human ret pally (Ändraste, naturally). I also have a very neglected goblin rogue called Stabitha and a tauren warrior called Viande (my duolingo french lessons came in handy for that one). My death knight is definitely down bad for Darion. I myself personally am down bad for Khadgar and Kalecgos. I could bang on about WoW for HOURS.
