Getting me to ship bendystraw in 2025 is vile and I blame all the artists for my writers block Not the fact that I just stare at my Zenwriter document and choose to watch a wall instead of writing. no. Defiantly the artists.

Opened elipsus for the first time
Nice aestetics, colors, love it
Gonna write sth rn
Let's find out if it's better (for me) than zenwriter. If not, then i'll just use it for collaborative works w my best friend
We added a new interface mode in which unimportant elements become less noticeable.
And we redesigned the appearance of folders; now you can add icons to them.

What do you write on?
Originally I wrote on Microsoft word directly.
However, I recently discovered an app called "ZenWriter," which rids of all clutter typically found in writing apps, giving you the bare minimum. So visually, you see what you type, and that's all. You can still bold and italicize and center things, but it's just aesthetically less busy.
The best part is you can download what you write into a pdf or HTML file afterwards. The only catch, which urks me because I'm naturally a very particular person, is the indentations.
Their indentations don't match Word's indentations. So I find myself having to go back and re-indent every paragraph. Which, I mean, in theory, isn't a big deal until you realize that my whole style is obnoxiously long chapters. Redoing the indentations of 1-5k chapters is one thing, it's an entire another playing field when your work is 15-20k long š„ŗ So don't be surprised if you notice a sudden inconsistency revolving indentations from now on, since I have to redo the older chapters of Limerence anyway, it isn't that big a deal.
But, in short, I write on ZenWriter, transfer to Word where I edit (to the best of my abilities), and I use Grammarly for that as well, huge help. And once that's done, I post~!
I love when I actually have a day off of work and Iām all,Ā āYeahhh letās write!ā but my brain is just,Ā āLol, no honey.āĀ
This has been my page for the last couple hours:
Letās all pray that night time kicks my productivity into gear as it usually does. >.>
P.S - This is what Zenwriter looks like but fun part is it has a bunch of chill looking backgrounds to suit whatever you want.Ā
Constantly shouting out for this program but I honestly just love it lmao.Ā

Iām cosidering applying for free version of @zenwriter for students and I wonder if itās safe to do it? My official document includes very personal data, like my address and national identification number.
Have you had experience with applying? Or maybe you know if itās possible to apply with a censored version of document, at least without my identification number?
What Iāve been doing
So in the 20 days since Iāve rounded up Cheap Thrillās first part, Iāve spent a lot of time just having fun on Photoshop really!
I learned how to colour in pics and Iāve just been colouring anime girls right now,
I did this last night (just the colouring, I donāt own the pic!)
And I got two new writing programs! I forked out Ā£13 for ZenWriter, which is beautiful and one of thoseĀ ādistraction-freeā word processors. It has great music (that you can turn off if youāre not interested or prefer your own stuff), you add your own backgrounds and it looks so very satisfying. You can try it for free for 15 days though, really worth it.
A few things I will say though, is that if you copy and paste your writing into it, you will lose italics and anything underlined, the spellchecker isnāt fantastic and it savesĀ everything as RTF files. However, for just writing up your work, itās really nice and Iām very glad I paid for it.
The other program is Bisbisco, itās free but not nearly as pretty as ZenWriter, and you have to pay $10 for the full version which allows you to do timelines and objects, but itās character interviews are really useful for building new OCās. They have all these helpful sections and ask questions that are actually relevant to majority of characters, like about social life, early life, psychology. etc.Ā
It has a lot of great features but I havenāt had the time to enter enough information to use them all yet. Things like architecture, locations, objects, chapters, timeline, analysis and an export option that you can use to change the type of document you finish it as.
But yeah, been a little busy, mostly working on WitchBoy (my original story that Iāve been world building for about 2 years) and trying out new things!Ā
Iāve decided I want to do a soft re-write of Cheap Thrills, whilst Iām working on the plot for the second part and Bellaās side story. Iām also considering posting it to AO3 too once Iāve fixed it up some.Ā
Anyway, I must go get dressed, take care guys and lemme know if you try out any of the programs!
