Wow uh HI I'm ALIVE (sort of, sometimes). Lots of hard times... but also, lots of progress in my life. I've recently been struck down again by misfortune, but even then, I'm suddenly finding myself with creative drive again! :O

I had to work like crazy to get my Wacom pen to work properly, and invested a long time into getting it to feel more natural than its regular settings allow. And it paid off. It feels much better to use. So I milked that for all it's worth in one evening!

Sooooo, have these sketchy scribbles of some bone bros! Except mostly Papyrus. Sans turned out kinda bad, lol, but that was my first attempt and a pen test. Plus I'm experimenting with some different styles. I like a few of these. Think I'll try these back and forth, see how that goes.

Despite not practicing all this time, I analyzed the heck out of my art, so I apparently can still improve in that manner, huh... And my, like... artistic vision came back for the first time in decades. To where I have an exact idea of what I'm going for, instead of flying blind and going "ok good enough I guess". Now I know what I want, AND apparently can get pretty darn close to it, without a zillion do-overs! I'm relieved that I'm still capable of that after all. Thought it was gone forever. ^^;;

And at the same time, I'm learning NOT to be held back by attempting unachievable perfection. From now on, I'll be OK WITH MISTAKES, as long as I can get the piece finished, and it evokes the emotions I'm going for! And boy does that mindset help! AND still turn out good! :D

So yay! I don't know how much I'll be able to do, but I'll certainly do what I can, whenever I can, and we'll wait and see.

99.9% of the time... *too pained/sick/tired/busy trying to pull my life together to feel like drawing. Plus emotions not working = no inspiration or chemical reward for putting in the effort.*

0.01% of the time... *FINALLY feels JUST decent enough to want to draw, has enough energy, AND enough spare time!!!! ........Then THIS happens........*

WELL! This was quite a departure for me! >w>

I wanted to make a media player compact, yet visible for when I do art streams (If I EVER end up feeling up to doing that again... heh heh... ^_^()). Anyway, I then had the desire to make it Undertale themed. So I made a micro player with only the basic screen customized, and made it tentatively public. Folks loved it, but wished it was bigger. So I doubled the size, and went all-out with customizing it, including many details, even little easter eggs. But MAN it was tough! Not only having to learn programming on the fly, but also the fact that Microsoft's own official dev documentation had mistakes in it! And the weird language it uses is a clusterfluff of non-standard syntax, so it was hard to find out how to do what I wanted to do. But I'd say I got it 90% the way I wanted it, which I'm proud of. Especially since it fought me tooth-and-nail with technology BULLCRAP that ALWAYS happens to me (changing a bit of code would break something else completely unrelated, etc)! So much trial-and-error, I think I'll be dreaming about re-opening this player over and over again to see if I got pixels lined up just right or whether or not I broke something with each little code edit I did... There are a few minor visual bugs, and some things need to be clicked twice the first time you load the player. There's peculiarities with the docking/undocking of sections as well. But there's nothing I can seem to do about those, hopefully it's not enough to ruin the experience (I myself have gotten used to 'em). Someday I might do a couple more tweaks (and fix things if I can ever figure out how), but for now, I think it's not bad for my first skin edit, and for having to do a lot of coding when I've never done any coding before.
