Zaraham (Zari x Graham) Headcanons
Zari’s socially awkward and doesn’t really know how to initiate conversations, so she was kind of relieved to finally have a coworker who was good at that kind of thing
Out of all his new colleagues (not counting Chief) Graham was most impressed by Zari due to her cool demeanor and how she knew just about everything about ACME
Zari was secretly really impressed by how quickly and smoothly Graham adjusted to his drastic career change
Graham asked for Zari’s first name three separate times, and she declined all three so he decided to let it go. After they bonded a bit more she ended up giving it to him unprompted, though she still has him refer to to her by last name at work (as she does with him)
It was because of Gray inviting her to the weekly coffee meetups that Zari was able to make friends with Julia and Chase
Chase and Julia both kinda lost their minds when they realized that their coworkers liked each other (or, perhaps more accurately, when they realized Zari liked Gray). They both make not-so-subtle comments and tease them about it all the time now
They’re both into DND and bond over that
When Graham was struggling with his memories of VILE returning and having an identity crisis, he went to Zari because he trusts her not to sugarcoat anything but her calmness is also grounding
Zari is an avid ballroom dancer and introduces Graham to it
Zari and Carmen got off to a... rocky start to say the least, what with Zari still being annoyed about all the trouble Carmen had caused and Carmen going full protective sister mode for Gray.
They learned to tolerate each other since they’re both really important to Gray, and eventually they wound up becoming friends (to both of their surprise)
Zari realized she had feelings for Graham when she thought he was dating Julia and got jealous. Julia realized what was happening and slipped the fact that she was a lesbian into the next conversation she could
Graham starts calling Zari “babe” even before they actually start dating. He doesn’t really notice but Zari sure does
They make bets on what crazy thing Chase is going to do next
The first time Graham heard Zari laugh he just kinda stood there in shock for a few minutes. She got embarrassed because her laugh is kinda high-pitched and cackly but when Graham finally snapped out of it he commented it was adorable
Graham likes to just text Zari random pictures of things that he thinks are interesting or cool throughout the day, like cats or signs or food. Zari smiles when she gets those texts
They both like to wear dresses
Graham wears reading glasses sometimes, which Zari thinks is cute
Zari isn’t usually very verbally affectionate but she shows she cares by making sure Graham is taking care of himself, bringing him water or food throughout the day, keeping an extra hair and for when he needs one, pre-ordering the movies he mentions he wants to watch, stuff like that
Graham IS very verbally affectionate, at any given chance he’ll be like “look at how cool my girlfriend is!! She’s such a badass I love her so much!! Have you seen my girlfriend? No she’s not missing she’s just beautiful and I think everyone should look at her.” He’s highkey a simp
Zari’s turtle and Graham’s snake actually get along super well
