It would be average Devineaux behaviour not to tell Chief about the mysterious guy who vanished jail before they could interrogate him, BUT JULIA WOULDN'T FUCK UP LIKE THIS.
Chief only gets to know the fact that he was on that train to Paris on season 4, when she could have found him much earlier with some crime.net global face recognition technology or wathever.

Do you all remember when in The Egyptian Drecryption Caper, Carmen promises that she will answer all of Devineaux's questions later? WELL I'M STILL WAITING FOR THAT CONVERSATION.
It's awfully unfair that after spending a good time trying to understand Carmen and the crazy trajectory of her life, Chase and Julia never got the chance to have this talk in the series.
it would make an amazing dialogue in my opinion, imagine them giving their side of the the story with all of those missing pieces, and everything slowly falling into place as she tells her perspective of everything that happened.
It would be a bit weird for her to tell her life to people she's barely spoken to? Kinda, but I still think that these two reacting to her origin story as Black Sheep would be amazing.
Chase deserves to have the biggest questions of his life answered as a reward for his dedication.
And it would be really tender to see Julia learning more about her girlfriend's past. By the way is there any fic with this concept?
