Location scouting for this movie I wanna make someday. Just trying to make the random locations I have access to look as "cinematic" as possible. Good practice.
Some iPhone photography I've done recently. Trying to find the "cinematic" possibilities with every place I go. I want my first movie to look amazing.

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (2015)
In 2012 when they first announced that Disney bought 'Star Wars' and planned on continuing the films, I was annoyed. I had since grown tired of the series, but I still felt obligated to watch it upon its release due to my younger self screaming from excitement deep within. Years passed, photos were released, trailers hit every website known to man, and I just thought; "this will be decent". I was wrong. At the premiere of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', I had an emotional response that I have never felt at a movie before. There were several times where I found myself holding back tears from sheer happiness. The practicals, the visuals, the colors, the humor, the acting, EVERYTHING was exactly what I wanted and more. Daisy Ridley is by far the best thing about this movie. She blew me away with her performance, especially since this is her FIRST feature-length film. Plus she just radiates beauty. The look on her face when she looks up to Han Solo and says, "I bypassed the compressor" melts my heart every time. Her eyes, accent, and smile just destroyed me. I seriously think I'm in love. Anyways; this movie is simply amazing. It felt old-school, yet had the stunning visual aids of modern cinema and I loved the amount of respect they had for the universe and characters both new and old. I've never had a theater experience quite like this. People laughed, cried, and applauded together. It was one of the most magical experiences of my life. No joke. Say what you want about the story, Kylo-Ren, or the BIG event that happens; no one will ever change my opinion or how deeply this movie affected me. Sure I guess it had some flaws (?), but what movie doesn't? Movies are supposed to be an entertaining break from reality and this movie succeeded beyond my wildest expectations. God bless everyone involved. It brought me a happiness I haven't felt in a long time. 10/10.

Hey everyone! Long-time, no-see! Sorry I haven't been posting much video stuff lately. BUT; I am working on some projects (finally)! So here are a few screenshots from a video that will be uploaded THIS WEEKEND! It's nothing spectacular, but it was a fun way to ease back into video-making and I had a good time filming it and playing around with weird ideas.
