বিশেষ সংবাদদাতা : রাজীব গান্ধি নিহত হন ১৯৯১ সালে। তারপর থেকে রাজীবের স্ত্রী সোনিয়া ও দুই সন্তান রাহুল ও প্রিয়াঙ্কার নিরাপত্তার দায়িত্বে রয়েছে স্পেশাল প্রোটেকশন গ্রুপ। কেন্দ্র তাঁদের ক্ষেত্রে এসপিজি নিরাপত্তা প্রত্যাহার করে জেড প্লাস ক্যাটেগরি দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে। তবে এ বিষয়ে সরকার থেকে সরকারিভাবে কিছু জানানো হয়নি। গান্ধি পরিবারকেও অবহিত করা হয়নি। সূত্রে জানা গেছে, আজ এবিষয়ে কেন্দ্র সিদ্ধান্ত জানাতে পারে। সম্প্রতি নিরাপত্তা কমিটির বৈঠকে এ বিষয়ে পর্যলোচনার পর কেন্দ্র ঠিক করেছে এই পরিবর্তনের। জেড প্লাস নিরাপত্তার দায়িত্বে তিনজনের জন্য কমপক্ষে ১০০ জন নিরাপত্তারক্ষীর ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে। সিআরপিএফ এই দায়িত্ব নেবে। কিছু দিন ধরেই গান্ধি পরিবারের থেকে এসপিজি তুলে নেওয়ার ভাবনাচিন্তার কথা শোনা যাচ্ছিল। রাহুল গান্ধি কাউকে না জানিয়ে দুমদাম বিদেশ চলে যাচ্ছিলেন। তাঁর নিরাপত্তার প্রশ্ন ওঠে। অবশ্য সরকারি ভাবে কিছু ঘোষণা না হওয়ায় কংগ্রেসের তরফে কোনও প্রতিক্রিয়া মেলেনি।
