The thing about all the idiots in Kinderwars is that they are NOT qualified to educate the next generation. They're all certified jocks with an IQ of one brain cell that ping pongs between them and, honestly, most of the time Doug has it. They may survive high stakes life or death games but put them in a game of tag with grade school children and they (except maybe Doug but he was a professional liar and he's not immune to the no brain cell curse) will be falling for each and every dirty trick the child mind can dream of. The reason half our main cast has even survived isn't even because of plot armor but the power of trauma making them strong enough to tank all the stupid and clever strategies that actually DO work against them

Youchien Wars is like what if there was a kindergarten with teachers who were former criminals tasked to protect children and the most convoluted plot, asides from the mystery of this one kid that everyone seems hellbent on acquiring, was the ever growing complicated love chain that's being purposefully kept from being resolved by one of the teachers who is a former cop who killed his boss that loves shoujo manga. And what if this was somehow a combination of the most repetitive gags and the most genuinely depressing tragedies you could read?
