@yukcri sent: blood, sender cleans blood off of receiver.
How he got roped into thisβwhat he would call bullshit, was quite annoying to him. Shinjiro was adamant about not coming back to SEES, going on about how it was a bad idea, how he shouldnβt be using this power of hisβand yet Akihiko was convincing enough when he mentioned that Ken was now with themβand Shinjiro, as always, felt responsible. There was something that was built from his guiltβwanting to watch over the kid, make sure that he was alright. Shinjiro couldnβt bring back the life he took that day, however, he could make sure another wasnβt lost for the time being.
That being said, he expected to keep everyone else at an arms lengthβdetach himself from everyone so they didnβt get too upset when the inevitable happened to him. That proved to be difficult, howeverβthey all tried much too hard to be nice to him and to garner his attention. It was annoying, but surely not as unwelcome as it used to be. He had grown fond of this group, much to his dismay.Β Cooking for them, enjoying their companyβ¦he couldnβt remember the last time he felt so appreciated. It was strange.
He blinks when he feels a hand reach up to his jaw line; wiping blood from a wound caused from battle, gaze flicker downwards to look at Yukari, raising a brow.
βWhat are you doing?β His question is sharp, but not malicious in nature, gaze moving to the bloodied cloth in her hand after she had released the slight pressure from the wound. A huff leaves him, barely a chuckle. These peopleβ¦.They really cared too much, didnβt they?
βShouldnβt you be looking after your own wounds?β Shinjiro questions her; craning his neck to one side then the other to stretch it out. βA small cut isnβt going to kill me, you know. Itβs nothing I canβt handle.β It was appreciated, though that remained unsaid.
