Now that that's done, let's just knock the rules out real quick-
ONE: If you can't guess what the 'indie' and 'selective' parts of the above text means, I dunno what to tell you. No offense to anyone who wants to RP, but I'm not gonna follow everyone back... and I'd have to follow via my main blog(themagnusignis) anyways since this is a sub-blog.
TWO: Leave the OOC drama way the hell away from me. I'm here to vibe and have a good time, and I'd like to make sure whoever I'm interacting with is also having a good time so I'll hold myself to this one.
THREE: Steal my OCs at your own peril. I've put YEARS of time into these, and I'll slap the stupid out of thieves. Related; AI slop can go burn.
FOUR: If you don't like OCs, just. Don't interact with me then? It's not a hard concept y'know. You can just close the door and walk away.
FIVE: It's multiship friendly here, but I don't ship willy nilly. Work it out via RP, cuz character chemistry is DELICIOUS AND GOOD.
SIX: Gonna have to hard pass on sexual content - Not that I'm a prude, it's just not to my interest with these characters. To say nothing of the fact they both have an age range(depending on timeline things) where they're minors so... yeah no™.
SEVEN: Please at least TRY to read the profiles on the muses before interacting? I don't expect people to out of the blue know who my OCs are, and it feels like at least a common courtesy... plus then you can get a decent idea of what kinda nonsense RP you might be getting caught up in.
EIGHT: More to come as I feel are needed, but probably not often.

"...I mean, I'm glad I was with you instead of someone else that didn't snap themselves out of that charm spell before things went too far?" A faint, but sardonic smile and Yukari chuckled under her breath, the sound bereft of any real humor. There wasn't really anything she could laugh at regarding that particular Full Moon operation... not now, at any rate. Maybe there would be some dim amusement at how Roy snapped out of it since no harm was done, but she doubted such would happen. Letting out a slow exhale, Yukari chose not to focus on that for the time being. No, what mattered more was how willing Roy was to be supportive even if the subject was uncomfortable for him, too.
Somewhere, deep in her subconscious, a bond grew stronger.
"Thanks, though, for asking--and for checking in on me." At least the smile she offered up now was genuine, albeit subtle. The Lovers nodded, a moment's consideration taken before she continued to speak. "And if you need to talk it out, or talk... well, anything out, I'm here, okay? Just... maybe warn me if it's gonna be too weird. I do not need to hear about some of the stuff Junpei just blurts out, y'know?"
"That's true, it could've been significantly worse in about twenty directions!" despite the grin on his face and the tone of his voice, it was hard to miss that Roy wasn't any more fond of the alternative possibilities than Yukari was.
At her thanks and offer to talk in the future, he smiled.
"Likewise. Just knock on the ol' door if you need an ear to vent into. We're... going through a lot, even without that last operation in mind." He trailed off, his smile turning slightly mischievous. "And what Junpei and I discuss will remain between the two of us to our graves, as long as he doesn't start yelling about some of it."

"Yeah.... yeah." The nod that Yukari offered in agreement to getting one's mind to settle down so one can sleep was painted thick with understanding sympathy. God, how many nights had she stared up at the ceiling just hoping and praying that sleep would finally come and take her? It felt like falling asleep easily was rarer than it should be... though, in fairness it absolutely was. But then again, considering all she had gone through, was it truly a surprise? "I know what you mean, and I think we all just--have nights like that."
The sigh that left her seemed the perfect bridge to the most recent thing to prevent her from falling asleep.
Roy's explanation as to how he broke free of the heart-shaped Shadow's spell earned a faint nod, the Lovers keeping silent even after his explanation ended. It was a lot of information to take in, a different perspective to absorb--a struggle to keep herself from backsliding into blaming herself for not being able to snap out of it on her own. Even if she logically knew she was the victim and hence was blameless, her emotions... a slow, careful exhale.
"...I see." Arms wrapped low around her own stomach, her gaze drifting off to one side. The answer had helped a little, perhaps, but the rest of what bothered her needed to be addressed directly, and she was not willing to do that with him. Not yet, anyway. "I appreciate you talking about it. That whole night... it sucked."
"Sucked is an understatement from my perspective, but probably best left that way. Get the feeling I'm not the only one who wants to just... not think about that operation ever."
Roy let out a sigh before taking another sip of his drink, idly shaking the can afterwards and realizing he'd already gone through half of it. There was a part of him that was still astonished by how easily he accepted how insane his life became after awakening his Persona, while another part kept pointing out his luck had always been on par with a card game anime character his entire life so he was already used to the nonsense. Still wished for less explosions though.
"You holding up okay after all that, though?" he asked, his mouth having moved faster than his brain did. Fortunately, it didn't take long for it to catch up. "If you wanna talk about it at all, I mean. Completely understand if you just... don't. Ever."
"Oh, cool. I'm done too, though I think we both know that this is the calm before the storm." Finals were just over the horizon, after all--and in spite of how she was more studious than most of her classmates, that didn't mean she enjoyed enduring the week of hardcore studying, much less the week of exams that followed. It was a grueling endeavor no matter how she looked at it. Add how she was going to have to carry Junpei, kicking and screaming, through those study sessions and... well, she was glad Mitsuru and Akihiko would be present to help wrangle the Magician. Speaking of wrangling--the mention of her reading earned a weak chuckle. "No, it's just--something to flip through to keep my mind busy, y'know?"
She could just leave it there--she should just leave it there. That would give Roy the chance to not ask what had her so troubled, to keep the walls she had built so carefully and painstakingly intact. However, who else could she even breathe the idea of what weighed on her mind to? Was there anyone she could trust with the, ah, delicate subject matter? Besides, considering how gentlemanly Roy was in the garish nightmare of the love hotel... hadn't he earned a little trust? A furtive glance to ensure they were alone and Yukari awkwardly cleared her throat.
"...hey, Roy?" A deep breath and the Lovers just--went for it. "What snapped you out of it? The... spell that Shadow had over everyone."
"Pretty sure 'Calm before the storm' applies to this entire dorm on a more regular basis than it should..." he took another sip of his soda, nodding in agreement to her comment about keeping her mind busy. "Usually have the opposite problem with my brain, getting it to shut off can be hell when I'm trying to sleep."
At her question about the 'spell', Roy initially froze. Not because he didn't want to answer, but because it took a good ten seconds of thought and probably amusing to watch facial expressions before he figured out what the hell she was talking about.
"Y'know." He looked and sounded uneasy, because he genuinely didn't want to talk about this. "If anyone else asked me that, I'd just act like I'd repressed that operation." Another sip. "And I kinda have. But to answer your question... Well. Getting hung up on details helps, especially when its 'Wait why does taking a shower sound wrong' and then realizing you're being drenched in blood because it's the Dark Hour. So y'know." Yet another sip. "I don't think you can blame me for screaming like I was being murdered. Or wanting to never think about that operation beyond 'yeah that happened' and moving on."

"So whose idea was this agian?" Evelyn asked, glancing over at her brother as the two of them strode down the sidewalk towards Iwatodai Station. "Because I kinda don't remember. At all."
Roy gave her an odd, slightly concerned look. "Yours. It was yours, Eve. You insisted on-"
Unfortunately, turning your head to remark on your sibling's memory failing completely tends not to be the best idea. Mainly because it meant Roy didn't see someone else who he bumped into... well. More like crashed into. The curse of being tall, really.
