Optimize Family,

We would like to thank everyone for their support and kind words throughout the past few months. We have some exciting news. The Optimize Group will officially open our Multi-Channel Network to the public on March 1st of this year. However, there are some details worth mentioning. We would like to elaborate on why it has taken so long for us to reach this decision, and specifics regarding our opening.

What’s With The Wait?

In August 2015, we received our first Content Management System (CMS) from YouTube. Our partner manager at YouTube has worked tirelessly with us, and helped us make decisions to speed up the launch process. With this Managed CMS, we did not have a Channel Rollup Tool (CRT). For those who are unfamiliar with this terminology, a CRT allows us to send CMS invitations to any channel. Without a CRT, we can only invite channels that have NEVER touched Google Adsense.

We decided to postpone the launch of our YouTube Multi-Channel Network until we had a CRT for our managed CMS, or an affiliate CMS with a CRT. We can, and always have been able to partner channels, just on a small scale based around the prerequisites of not having a CRT. Since August, we have partnered with talented creators to test our methods and systems on a very conservative scale.

As a team, we made the decision to not launch until we received confirmation that our CRT for our managed CMS OR affiliate CMS with a CRT was on the way. Which has led to a multi month wait.

So, You Have The CRT/Affiliate CMS?

We received confirmation from our YouTube partner manager that our last step was being examined from YouTube. This is for our Managed CMS Channel Rollup Tool.

During that same time period, we successfully accepted an offer from a third party investor to speed up the process of our affiliate CMS and CRT. Our third party offered their resources to better the Optimize Group. We now have access to powerful technology to power a future dashboard, and mentoring available from an industry leader. The biggest part, we would receive assistance to acquire an affiliate CMS with a CRT. It's worth to note, our third party investor will not control our CMS, we are the sole owner of the CMS, once granted by YouTube.  

After a board decision, we determined this was the best route for Optimize.

Note: This is not a branded affiliate CMS that our third party investor is helping us acquire. This will be granted by YouTube to our account.

Wait, Investor? Who Owns Optimize?

Andrew Stagg, founder and managing director of Optimize, is still the majority shareholder of the company. Our decisions, financials, programs, hiring and firing of staff, and company as a whole is still completely controlled by the Optimize Group.

So, About This Opening?

Both of these events are happening at the same time. Our partner manager is finalizing details with YouTube for our CRT for our current managed CMS, and our third party investor is working to get an affiliate CMS and CRT to be granted to us by YouTube. The work between our partner manager and our investor are separate, as they are essentially working on two different aspects of the Optimize Group.

We will be opening our doors to creators starting March 1st. You can only be partnered if you have not enabled Google Adsense on your channel.

I’ve Had Adsense Enabled, What About Me?

If you have enabled Adsense on your channel, you will be put on a waiting list until our CRTs come through. We are predicting this will take place mid April.

What Are Your Partnership Requirements?

Your Channel Must be at least 30 days old.

Some networks only offer long binding contracts. I personally would only choose a network with a no lock-in contract. This way you're able to leave the network in case you're not satisfied with the service.
