I don't like the hraxian kraglin headcannon. Isn't it already cool that a kree ex-slave captain has a Xandarian slumdog as a first mate? I think there's something beautiful about how the ravagers welcome everyone, as long as you're loyal and can shoot a gun.
Do we know the reason why Yondu chose to break the Ravagers code of not trafficking children and agreed to deliver Egos kids to him? Is there a canon explanation for it? I haven't been able to find one in the wiki both MCU and comic version. So my theory is that in the movie we can clearly see Yondus clan is looked down upon and i think it must have been that way even before accepting Egos deal. Maybe Yondu fucked up before, not following rules, being selfish and endangering the ravagers as a whole on several occasions. And his clan was probably also not doing so well at that time to a point where Yondu was struggling to provide for his crews needs. So when Ego offered that deal, not only did Yondu do it to get rich he did it to be able to improve the state his men were in. We know Yondu isn't essentially a bad guy, he must have been very desperate and it must have been pretty hard for him to toss his morals over board.
