| May 2022 | Part 4 - the midtown girl
- Just some random elevator shots on my way to work during those last days LOL. I swear my building knew what they was doing putting a mirror in the elevator.
- The last photo was my last day. I made sure they remembered me super cute LOL.
- I look happy here because I love mornings, but I did not love going to that place. Corporate America IS NOT for everyone.
September 21 ‘22 | meditation session
I was feeling so Zen and cute this day. The hostess said I carried a lot of “what now” energy and I needed to continue searching for what truly makes me happy and take a hold of it, even a small piece for a little while. She said it’s hard for people like me to find their sense of self and they often wonder what it is that they are meant to do. I tend to drift off in so many directions but instead I need to look within, sit in the quiet, and do Zen meditation instead of searching for some outside acceptance. It a necessary practice.

| May 2022 | Part Two
A few moments after an exciting and fulfilling dance workout. It was just me and my trainer and I learned a plethora of new dance moves of the Afro Cuban Samba variety. Being Afro-Cuban myself I felt that it was an omen and it would be blaspheme of me not to attend. I also needed something to uplift me after coming off such a chaotic and heartbreaking month. Looking back I remember that powerful release of energy making me feel really good.....can you tell?

| April 2022 | Part 12 - i call this one ‘self betrayal’
This was an interesting month.
I tried a lot of different things with my appearance, with my behavior, with my communication processes. I was sad a lot this month, angsty, moody. I couldn’t sit still, I was eager a lot of the times, then I was suddenly dropped on my ass. I was completely blindsided. It’s crazy how you wish for something and then when you get it you don’t want it anymore. This.
They call it spring cleaning for a reason. I tend to do a lot of reflecting during these little pockets of the year. It’s usefully Spring and Autumn. I move with the seasons as you do, ya know. I don’t always recognize myself sometimes. I’m still trying to figure out what I look like, what I am, and what I’m really and truly about. I don’t always see her in these photographs. I tend to see someone who is trying to be me..............who the fuck is this imposter?!
