4 miles in the windy, cold.
Now that I have finally finished the data collection phase of my dissertation, I can finally breathe again. I can hardly remember what life was like two years ago before my dissertation began (and before my Dad passed away).
Getting back into running again is my first decision now that I have more freedom. I have been doing well getting my health back under control-I’ve been eating more regularly and more efficiently. I’ve been dutifully taking my multivitamin and supplements each day and eating more leafy greens than I thought ever possible! Haha! I am waiting for my blood results to come back in a few days, hopefully will get to the bottom of whatever is going on. I just hope it’s something that I can fix (or am already fixing)!
Today’s 4 mile run was my longest run since November. Over the winter I stuck to 3-3.5 miles (all on the indoor track). But now I get to enjoy the outdoors again and had it not been freezing cold and windy today, I would have just kept on going for another mile or two. My pup has even been enjoying running again, making it extra fun!
Weekly goal: 10-15miles for now. In addition to my already daily yoga and recently daily meditation practice. I will be posting a bit more about my meditations too, since that helps me really get into my practice.
