Z for Zucchero. "The father of Italian Blues" - alternative for Italian ballads with his gospel, rock and blues inspired music. Working with music since 1970 he is still one of the rare european blues artists that continue enjoy international success. On Yo Canto (2006) we heard his 1986 hit Como El Sol Inesperado.

J for Je Chante, the YoCanto's french version from 2006. Laura is an international star who speaks and sings in five languages. Italian, Spanish and English being the most common ones but occasionally she does release French and Portuguese versions of her songs. Perhaps speaking in French is the most difficult for her out of these five languages. However she makes a constant effort and this was her first solo performance in French when it came out.

Ten years ago Laura became second time Latin Grammy winner for her album Yo Canto being the best pop female album! She dedicated the award to Luciano Pavarotti, passed away few months earlier and sang with Andrea Bocelli. 

Laura’s Io canto / Yo canto/ Je chante was published 11 years ago! Originally Riccardo Cocciante’s song from 1979 was the title track for Laura’s cover album in 2006 and still one of the most loved live numbers.

Auguri Renato Zero! Laura sang his Nei giardini che nessuno sa / En los jardines donde nadie va on her album of Italian covers in 2006.
