aaah, genmaicha! I love it a lot too... I made it Taemin’s favorite tea in YMCOT uhuhu.

Think about...

Jongin & Taemin finally moving in together. Taemin had been talking about moving to a bigger place for so long already, but he never did. At some point, he stopped wanting to move out because he was starting to hope that, maybe, Jongin & him would be serious enough to move in together. So he kept that idea in the back of his mind and waited.

It took a lot of time for Jongin to even consider living with Taemin, only because he couldn’t imagine not living with Channie anymore. But, then, one day, he realizes that when he’s not at Taemin’s, then Taemin is at Jongin’s, and half of his stuff is in Taemin’s drawers & when he starts daydreaming about sharing a home with his boyfriend, he gets really awkward for a while because this little thought is the softest, loveliest idea he ever had & it makes him all emotional.

It takes so much time & courage for Jongin to bring himself to talk about it to Taemin, and Taemin is delighted because he’s been waiting for so long & he was a bit scared to bring it up with Jongin because he knows how much Jongin enjoys living with his best friend. But he’s really over the moon with happiness.

It’s difficult for Jongin to talk about it to Chanyeol, but Channie tells him that it’s okay. Of course, they couldn’t live together forever. And maybe then, he can find the courage to ask his girlfriend if she wants to move in with him too. And if she doesn’t, well, then, he’ll have to find a new roommate but it’s alright because he knows Baekhyun would probably jump on the occasion (& Jongin hopes Chanyeol’s girlfriend will accept because he doesn’t want Baekhyun to become Channie’s new best friend........). The only problem is the Iron Man bowl & even though it belonged to Jongin in the first place, they still decided who would inherit it with some “rock, paper, scissors” & Jongin won & Channie was heartbroken, so Jongin did all he could to find another one online, that he bought for himself, and he left the One True Iron Man Bowl to his best friend.

But then, Taemin & Jongin actually finding a lovely apartment together, big enough for the both of them & their three dogs. They have a small bedroom & a nice living room and Taemin is extremely happy because the kitchen is separate and it’s such a nice change from the tiny flat he used to live in. The apartment is very luminous & Jongin really loves their bedroom & Taemin really loves the beautiful furniture that Jongin found to store all of their teas. Taemin’s friends (Minho, Jinki, Jonghyun & Kibum) offered them a very pretty tea service for their housewarming.

Jongin feels like he’s living a dream, really & Taemin loves how domestic they are & they love arguing on stupid things such as whose turn it is to clean the bathroom because they always end up laughing & kissing.

YMCOT!Taekai finally going on a trip in New Zealand for their 2 years anniversary together... They’re not really going in July, because it’s winter there at that time of the year, but they still decide to call it “the trip for their anniversary”, because it makes Jongin happy.

Them hiking & kayaking & diving & snorkelling & having the time of their lives... & being stupidly happy together & so so so in love. Then, them going to visit as many locations from the Lord of the Rings movies as they can, because, truly, Jongin is vibrating with the want & need to see them all (& it’s no secret he has always wanted to go to New Zealand because he wanted to see Hobbiton....). & Jongin is so damn euphoric & happy & he’s smiling like a kid & Taemin loves to see him like this. So Jongin takes pics of everything & Taemin takes pics of his happy boyfriend.

Them going to little tea shops & discovering new teas & buying tons of them & it’s Taemin’s turn to be all excited & he’s clinging to Jongin, so his boyfriend can translate all of his questions to each seller they meet. & Taemin can’t contain himself when they discover a Chinese hand rolled jasmine scented white tea & he buys three packages of it even though it’s extremely expensive & he feels a bit bad, but Jongin assures him that they can afford it & it’s their 2 years anniversary after all, so if Taemin wants tea, Jongin will buy him all the tea he can.

I love Chanyeol. I just love him & I miss writing him & I need to write more Chanyeol

^ I said there were terribly ugly sentences but this story also has some golden nuggets & I wrote some epic stuff in this *pats self in the back*

Just like when I edited MB... there are no major changes at all, I simply corrected some grammatical mistakes I made along the way & maybe changed one word here & there. I hope it can make the reading smoother & more enjoyable to everyone reading it, for the first or umpteenth time, ohoho.

& you know, there’s this tea I associate with Jongin. Because I’m the kind of nerd who associate tea with people. & it’s Jardin du Luxembourg (maybe you remember it if you read YMCOT). & this new tea, I definitely associate it with Taemin. Somehow, it’s perfect.
