Not to stir up drama on Taemchella's Eve, but I was having a sentimental moment watching the Artemis II landing, and a question suddenly hit me: did Taemin and Kai break up?? I feel like they haven't been seen together or even mentioned each other in years. Last thing I knew about Kai was that he was discharged forever ago, and then, my darling, he went to release some god-awful songs. Then I stopped keeping up with him, but from Taemin's side, I don't remember seeing anything either. No dance challenges? 👀 No vlogs or any random variety show? 👀 No outings together? 👀 Maybe everything is perfectly fine, and they're just trying to stay away from whatever mess has been happening over the last 2 or 3 years, at least I hope so because I'd hate to know some real drama went down, but they decided to Good-bye Lenin us! I want to know the truth! I need the deets!!

What you're asking about is a thing people say or ask often because they a) don't have official content together (TM's legal relationship with SM wasn't sorted out in time for SMTown) and b) people can't remember the last time they mentioned each other and c) Kai keeps dramatically saying he has no friends. 😭
TM did mention him after enlistment and confirm they spent time together. Also Kai is a dramatic introvert. We often say we have no friends when we literally have like 5 best friends. Not sure what our problem is but it usually requires therapy.
So, don't worry! I think when/if SMTown happens again, these two will be before our eyes being besties.
