haven't posted here in a while!!! oopsie!!! anyway, edited this monstrosity bc I think whitewashing your most recognizable women of color is stupid as fuck!!! also this whole pic is ugly as hell :) there's colors going out of their lines *literally* everywhere, Shelly's eyes were going in different directions, and I only fixed so much before being so frustrated I gave up. please hire artists who actually respect skin tones and can color correctly soupsell! π
also, before you try to excuse it with "it's just the color palette/color theory!!! her skin is lighter bc of that!!!" as an artist, I disagree. if we look at colt, we can see his skin is the same tone. not including the parts where there are shadows/highlights, it's the exact same skin tone as his base model! however, Shelly is much lighter? it just doesn't make sense.
