i feel like a lot of trans people our age and younger dont realize that "diying" was like. the main way to transition before the 2010s. it was genuinely impossible to get trans care for so long unless you lived in a big city + had a million referrals. like of course do it safely but as a community weve been doing it safely. insisting otherwise reeks of like. suburban fascism particles idk idk its like closing your eyes to the reality of peoples lives bc you personally have never had to step outside the status quo for anything
