and aaaah, yes, okay okay okay so i at least started writing this one, and i meant to finish it a few days ago, but oopsie, life got in the way--anyways, post-deception. feelings are a little less raw but still kinda awkward? (so anakin’s not the sullen, raging twentysomething...he’s instead the kinda sore, kinda...uh idk what to do when i’m alone in the room with you awkward twentysomething instead.) 

anyways, there’s another mission. obi-wan flies in grievous’ ship of all things, only he kinda fails to mention that,,,,,,,,it’s him until a little late. not a deathfic, i swear, but things get super intense, and i’ve been listening to out of the woods on repeat so--

Ahsoka snorted. “You’d think they’d learn.”

“Their programming only goes so far,” Anakin said.

“True.” Ahsoka looked around the hanger and then her face brightened. She waved. “Master Kenobi!”

Anakin blinked. He turned around to find Obi-Wan walking into the hanger, wearing a slight smile. He waved back at Ahsoka once, and as Obi-Wan grew closer, Anakin could only think, what was he doing here—
