Streets that were once filled with life are now ruins; hospitals are overwhelmed, and basic necessities are scarce. Children are terrified, families are torn apart, and nowhere feels safe. This is not a battle it is collective punishment, a humanitarian nightmare unfolding in real time, and the world cannot turn away.

gaza is suffering under severe dust storms and the +1M residents of the strip have nowhere to hide because of the occupation
dust storms are NOT normal for gaza's ecosystem. these are a product of israel's ecocide, which destroyed the natural environment that otherwise would have kept soil and debris erosion in check. trees, roots, crops, etc, which protected the land have all been bombed over the past two years. with nothing regulating erosion, gazans are left at the mercy of intense waves of polluted, asbestos filled and cancerous dust that get in their lungs and eyes and will cause diseases for generations to come
as always, the people suffering the most from this will be those who lack the funds to buy shelter and protection. with the renewed blockade after the start of the us/israel-iran war,
bridge of solidarity is fundraising to replace tents for people. they are an anticapitalist mutual aid org centered on the most marginalized gazans—black people, lgbtq people, and those without the means to market themselves to the west
my friend siraj is also fundraising to protect his family during this time. he is ineligible for aid from a lot of these organizations because he has a fundraiser, but he still lacks the means to support his wife, children, and extended family. pls help him out too
