green gets curious about rose early on, and drags them into the closet to talk. he gets rose to open up, surprising considering rose is extremely distrusting of anyone who isn't lavender at the moment...

rose was wrongly convicted of murder at 14, having killed in self defense after having to fight people most of their life to survive bullying that eventually went too far... they spent three years in prison, before a probation program for engineering was offered, allowing rose to learn a skill and 'redeem themself' before being shoved out into the job market. they spent 7 years in the program, before being sent off to what is the spaceship the rest of the among us crew are in. they met lavender before this shortly after their probation, and trust them the most; but have basically wasted 10 years of their life all because their own family wouldn't help prove their innocence. makes sense why they wouldn’t trust anyone...

and yet, after telling green all of this.. green just says they're a good person, and wants to be friends... why...? it makes rose feel warm in their chest for the rest of the day...

"Ah..." Mariko just hazily looks down at her jacket. Some of her spilled coffee had gotten on it, with the rest being on the train floor.. Now looking up at Flynn, she just gives a small nod of her head. "Oh. I see... It's okay. Thank you....sorry about that... I guess I dozed off, huh...."

She was a lot more tired than she thought....then again, this girl hasn't had a single break all week! Meeting after meeting.... paperwork, emails, scheduling.... She's barely been to class, with some days, being completely absent. Her and Flynn were returning from another meeting. So long, and boring....she struggled to keep her eyes open during it.

Thankfully the trains were a lot less packed around this of day, so the two had some seats. Maybe because it was quieter, along with the rocking of the train... Mariko had fell asleep before she knew it...and how she managed to accidentally spill the cup of coffee she has been holding.

With a stifled yawn, she rubs one of her eyes before lazily shuffling her jacket off, then going back to leaning against Flynn's shoulder. "Haaagh... I'm so tired, Flynn... I just want this week of stupid meetings to be ooover, already..."
