GIMME A YOU DON’T SEE STRAIGHT SEQUAL!!!!!!! <3
while it's not a sequel here have this tiny thing
Post finals sickness was probably a crime against humanity. In fact, Stiles decided, it was. Especially when he had been bundled onto a plane a short nap after the last final. Another time Stiles might have laughed, but as it was he stifled a groan. Because it was their third Christmas together and Stiles had contracted the plague. He was mostly sure. "Stiiiiiiiiiles," Aaron called out, far too joyful, "do you want to come down for lunch or should she send a tray up?" Stiles did groan then. He didn't even want to think about eating. He'd just past that special sort of exhausted where you just wanted to roll over and beg for mercy. He was suddenly homesick for his dad pacing outside his room – or Scott's lukewarm microwaved chicken noodle soup. Maybe even Scott's dumb face. Stiles pulled the cover up over his head, sniffling as his eyes filled. "Stiles?" Aaron asked, knuckles rattling on the doorframe. "Go away," Stiles said – voice too thick. He was blaming that on the mucus. There was a scuffle in the hall before the door closed with a quiet snap. "Stiles," Derek said, just a bit fond, "can I bring you anything?" "My dad," Stiles said, not caring at all how young and pathetic he sounded. "My best friend. Some poorly made condensed soup. And more tissues." "I can swing one of those," Derek said, mattress sinking under his weight. "Well then what use are you," Stiles complained, swiping at his eyes before dropping the cover to look at him. Derek's expression was even fonder than his voice and Stiles wrinkled his nose. "Stop it, I hate you," Stiles groused. "I'm not doing anything," Derek protested, smiling. "Your pitying me and I don't like it. You know nothing of my suffering." "True… But I can keep you warm," Derek offered. Stiles sighed. "Well – if my dad won't come – or Scott. I suppose you'll do." "How will I conceal my happiness?" Derek questioned. "Oh shut up and get over here." Derek wrapped around him easily, warmth spreading through Stiles as his aches eased. "Thanks," he mumbled before drifting off.
