#yarn con

How awesome are these earrings that I bought! They're actual legit needle gauges! I actually put a size 10 through one of the holes and it actually fit!

So I guess if I'm ever at the store and I forgot my needle gauge at home when I need it I can always just pull off my earrings!

and then later when I get home I'm going to take a photograph of every single business card that I got and give a shout out to all the wonderful businesses that were at yarn con today!

The two skeinss of yarn that I wanted the raffle... I went up to the booth to check them out and I asked how much the bundle was and they said the bundle was $60!

I paid $10 for this raffle and I got 12 raffle tickets... And this is the yarn I picked out! I got a $60 value yarn for 10 bucks!

The other yarn that I have posted here... She does a whole bunch of geeky dyed yarns and they were really neat! You can knit Dobby sock! You can knit with a color called "Vader's underwear!" And in the coming year she says she's going to come out with a Star trek themed set and one of them is going to be called "there's coffee in that nebula"

@busy-as-a-bee this is for you! they unfortunately ran out of business cards so I won't be able to get the information until I get home... But they said that you could Google them and you'll find them! They also have such pretty yarn!

This might be the last photo I post line here because it's 4 and they closes in an hour... And I have been here since 9 a.m....

I'm really happy with what I got and now I need to beat it for 1 tomorrow because it's going to be the same thing as today so it would just be me coming back out to knit or buy more things

My husband would disagree as far as me coming back out especially if I show him everything I got...the wooden needles that are in the picture... Are hexagonal needles! They're so neat and even if I try to justify it to him why I need more sizes...

I'm really happy with the buttons that I got! I'm going to give the second rainbow button to my friend Nellie... Because she just started to learn to knit!

I decided to leave the autocorrect as the title because it sounded funnier that way and it probably only sounds funnier because I'm running are 4 hours of sleep but I'm about to pass out

It was supposed to say "shout outs"

but somebody remind me tomorrow to finally finish taking photos of all my stuff and giving shout outs to every single vendor that I bought from and every single vendor that was a yarn con! With links in Facebook pages and everything included

But I am so tired that I think I might have fallen asleep for a minute or two (sitting up no less) when I was on the edge of the tub putting lotion on my legs and feet...

so...yarn con is officially done.. It makes me sad because I will have to wait until next year for more fun stuff!

you will see some of the things that I bought! The bracelet is so neat because it's used from recycled aluminum knitting needles! I love the rainbow color of it because it suits me as a member of that rainbow!

And check out the really cool buttons that I got! I just couldn't resist! And I'm sure a lot of you can agree with what the buttons say LOL... and I'm sure there's more pictures that I forgot to take that I will take later!

OH! Shout out to ice melon and their beautiful pastel colored yarn!

I decided that since I was in no rush to get home... I headed over to seafood City which is a local Chicago Filipino grocery store and food court... Because I was severely lacking in Filipino delicacies in my home and I felt that my house needed more. The heart also skipped a thousand beats as soon as I saw that they had caramel leche flan in by the Pastry section! Caramel leche flan is my desert weakness...

And of course no trip is complete without a trip to Jollibee! The Filipino in me is happy that I can have my Jollibee...and unless you are Filipino yourself or you know a Filipino... A lot of times it's hard for people to grasp why Filipinos like Jollibee so much and why they will wait two hours in line when a new location opens up here in America...

Ok! it's time to go to bed and get 4 hours of sleep! And then I'm going to try again for yarn con's last day and this time I'm going to try to get there 2 hours early because I want to get that damn free gift bag! Only the first 50 people in line get it!
