also what's the inspo for your artstyle? i feel like i'd see your characters sitting in cozy cafes with chill music. maybe an animal crossing ost. is that too specific

This is Star and they’re an alien cat-like creature :D They’re a little mascot for my art content and yes, they’re free to pet and squish :3

Also a quick backstory for this guy: I wanted a rebrand for my art social media to represent me and my art better. I wanted a silly gimmick people would recognise me by so I chose a color palette, I’ve designed sona and some creatures to be my mascots and since most people knew me for my love for stars, aliens and cats I’ve combined those 3 together :] And since a rotated star kinda looks like an animal head I thought it would be perfect to include in the design!

As for the inspo question I’m not sure what to answer, it’s just an amalgamation of everything that catches my eye’s attention. Sometimes I see an artist drawing certain things in a way I really like and I try to incorporate that into my artstyle!

I’ve always loved watching cartoons and gameplays online, they were the thing that inspired me to draw! I’ve started with Eddsworld, Undertale and BFDI style fanarts, I’m sure my roots are visible somewhere there haha (well, the BFDI phase has really made a full circle huh)

My artstyle has changed a bit a few months ago bcs I’ve always struggled with perfectionism I wasn’t ever truly satisfied with my art so I've asked myself what I didn't like in my art and I went through a big experimenting phase. I’ve stopped caring about making my lineart perfect and it helped me SOOO much with being more loose and having more fun.

Also yeah, I totally see your vision! It’s pretty accurate as I myself love sitting in cafes and playing chill farming simulators, those are my fav types of games so I'm glad my artstyle gives off the same vibes :D

i'm mando, and i'm half a month from being exactly a decade younger than dan. first mask is a nod to my area of study, second is based off alebrijes. i'm gay as fuck and in an inchresting Situation that is extremely similar to phan except we're somehow not technically together. i started watching dnp (+listening to muse) a decade ago and even did a few phandom meetups back in the day, thought they were cringe for a while, and now i'm back to being cringe <3
