I feel like people think “male autism” or whatever is a calculated minded stoic but “male autism” is also

getting bullied for “little girl” hyperfixations like MLP or Care Bears

being called “oversensitive” for crying easily

having a higher pitched voice that people think is babyish and irritating

unconsciously being more expressive because of stimming

being strongly attached to a doll or plushie

If my kid is mentally disabled, I’m never gonna force them into those stupid programmes that teach them how to be a minimum wage manual worker. They’re pursuing what THEY wanna do, not what society deems the only way they’ll be useful. I don’t care if that passion can’t be turned into a career. I’d rather have an unemployed kid than unhappy kid.

I love the song cubibibibism and I’ve been getting videos that will do something relatable and switch halfway like “STOP! cutting yourself is wrong don’t cut yourself..” 

It’s so irritating. If you wanna send that message, go ahead. But start the video that way instead harder for sh addicts to find the kind of comfort they need to get through the urge. A lot of us are less likely to relapse if we’re just allowed to feel like we’re not alone. You don’t know better than us about what will help us.

Seeing people get flamed for romanticising or glorifying or normalising or whatever BS people come up with to hate on someone for existing as a mentally ill person.

Last night actually, I had a dream that I was creating a happy home paradise home for a rich lady in animal crossing who paid me to make the worst possible living environment for her husband and kids while she went to the club all day.

The cubibibibism dance is not a problem and I will die on that hill. A dance is an expression and the expression isn’t always gonna be sunshine rainbows and good vibes. 

I hate it when neurotypical/ able-bodied people get on the asses of disabled people for “romanticising disorders” and being “offensive”. Let people make the most of what life has dealt them, it’s like y’all are allergic to happiness.
