Room share for yaoi-con
So I'm going to yaoi-con in San Fransico this year, but can't really afford a room for myself. I could do it and stress budget a lot, but idk hey lets live on the wild side. If anyone else is having the same issue please PM me so I can begin talking to any potential people ASAP so I actually can do this safely.
One of our con goals would be to sell at Yaoi-Con, but just counting up airfare, hotel, checked bags, and stock it’s sooooo freaking expensive to just get there.
I really want to try, but having to spend ~$2000 preemptively on a chance that we’ll make anything back is a little scary ;___;
Thanks to everybody who stopped by to say hi (and even buy things!) at Yaoi-con! I really had a blast. I saw old friends, met a few new ones, talked to lots of fine folks, and even got to hang out with the delightful Alexis Cooke, who sat with me at the table for a bit and did little sketches in a bunch of copies of “Dinner Ditz”! Eee!
It was a great weekend, but I’m glad to be home, with my stack of lovely new things to read.
