your a secret vampire hunter, one day your partner put up a welcome mat without your knowledge.

So you walk downstairs and see the vampire you've been hunting for years but have always seemed to evade sitting down and having a coffee with your oblivious partner.

"Oh there you are, why didn't you tell me you had a friend coming over you know I love to meet them" they laugh completely unaware.

"Yes why didn't you let this sweet thing know I was coming over?" The vampire teased you

"My apologies…" you glare at the now smug vampire.

Of course as soon as they leave you take down the mat but it's already to late, now all they have to do is give the door a knock and your partner will let them in no questions asked.

And they know you'd never take the risk of revealing your identity so now you have a permanent third wheel on almost all your dates and holidays.

“A bottle of colourful sand we got on vacation”

The vampire scoffs with a smirk “thank yo-“

“Oops~” you drop it one the floor sending sand everywhere.

I think there should be like a week where readers shifts have to be longer because of their boss or just a lot of animals needing care and less staff then they need, and with this happening they forget to take care of themselves so fem vampire catching reader in the act of getting home late scolds them and takes care of them

Fem vampire x reader

The days were long and filled with many different worried pet owners, the nights were worse as they had to stay late and look after all the sick animals.

It got so bad that they considered pulling multiple all-nighters just to get through it all.

When reader finally made it home they were utterly exhausted and wanted nothing more than to pass out right then and there on the floor, but they knew they couldn’t.

“Welcome home my love” arms draped over their shoulders, a kiss placed on their neck leaving a dark red stain no doubt.

“Hey..” they leaned back into her form, god how they wished they could just stay like that forever.

“Hm, you seem tired again this is the fifth day in a row you know” she scolded them lightly.

“Yeah I know, and I have another shift tomorrow so I’d like to get to bed and get some sleep” reader yawns as they untangle themselves from her arms

“Sleep already?” She stood in front of them “dear you haven’t eaten anything yet and I know you probably didn’t eat your lunch either” she glared down at them

“Yeah I know but I really don’t have time for it, I need sleep to and I need to wake up early tomorrow” reader mumbled taking their coat off

She put a gentle hand on their shoulder “and what about a shower or a bath?”

“I’ll take a quick one in-“

“In the morning I know, that’s what you said yesterday, and then this morning you said you would take one tonight” her eyes softened as her hand moved up to reader cheek.

“Dear I understand you have an important job, taking care of other creatures is an honour but you are living to and I wish for you to take care of yourself as well” she smiled

“I know…I know it’s just hard with everything going on and I feel like shit but I can’t just not go to work” reader wiped the sweat off their forehead.

“One meal, one ‘healthy’ meal then I’ll let you lay down, can you do that for me love?”

The look in her eyes was hypnotizing, if she wasn’t in love with them reader wondered what she’d do to them.

“Fine…I guess I can stay awake for a little while more, but don’t blame me if I just pass out” they followed her into the kitchen.
