I have daddy issues and a thing for age gaps. So reading the younger character of a duo get absolutely railed by the older character makes me equally as happy as reading the younger character get adopted by the older character. Wich is a very long winded way of saying pls send me Snarry and Severitus recs pls. Pls.

Alex Rider TV having Alex hallucinating Yassen (pre/in) s2 was honestly such an inspired choice. How they only had such a brief meeting and yet Yassen haunts him! Alex knows he's a threat, and someone who is interested in him in some way, even if he can't explain why or how the man knew him, and perhaps part of the dreams and hallucinations are his unconscious mind trying to work it out. Perhaps part of him subconsciously knows it was Yassen who killed his uncle. Perhaps some of the hallucinations really were Yassen stalking him too. And it's Yassen he's hallucinating and having ptsd about, not Stellenbosch, not his clone, or any other bits of Point Blanc. Just the man with the scar from the hallway, whose name Alex didn't even know until Mrs Jones told him, who looked at him strangely. Just such a good storyline, and absolutely ripe with implications that we can analyse. A++
