Hero XPulse 200T BS6 launched in India ++ Hero MotoCorp has launched the BS6-compliant #XPulse 200T in the Indian market at an ex-showroom, Delhi price tag of Rs 1,12,800. The updated model carries a substantial price increase over the BS4 model that was sold at Rs 95,500. Similar to its off-road-spec variant, the XPulse 200, the BS6-compliant XPulse 200T, too, benefits from an oil-cooled system. The updated 199.6cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor produces 17.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.15Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The BS4 version, in comparison, made 18.1bhp at 8,000rpm and 17.1Nm at 6,500rpm. ++ The #XPulse200T gets a LED headlight, LCD digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, call alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. Suspension duties are handled by a 37 mm telescopic front fork, and a seven-step adjustable rear monoshock. The XPulse 200T runs on 17-inch wheels, and has a ground clearance of 177 mm, with kerb weight rated at 154 kg. Unlike the standard off-road capable Hero XPulse 200, the XPulse 200T was not much of a commercial success for Hero MotoCorp. In its second innings with the BS6 updates, Hero will be hoping to rake in some better sales volumes with the XPulse 200T. ++ The #HeroXpulse 200T is positioned in the 200cc segment where we see the presence of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. Categorizing in the displacement, the KTM 200 Duke is also positioned in the same segment - although on a much premium side. Dr Pawan Munjal, Chairman & CEO, Hero MotoCorp, confirmed that the company is planning to roll out more than 10 new models every year for the next 5 years. https://www.instagram.com/p/CMXVH03HLmG/?igshid=1gxme7zlorblp
