The rent was cheap enough that Mika couldn’t turn the option down. They’d even met the guy before the contract was signed. This Sasuke dude was blind and deaf and apparently didn’t need a big old house to himself. So they’d arranged to take one of the rooms in his residence. All Mika had to do was pay rent and help keep the place clean. Seeing as they were able bodied enough Mika didn’t object.
Perhaps Mika hadn’t fully realized the undertaking of maintaining a big house. Once all their belongings were on a truck heading away from the rathole apartment in the rundown hood they drove to Sasuke’s home. He should be expecting them upon arrival. It was hard to miss the place, Mika knew he had some serious money but that still didn’t prepare them for the Uchiha’s home. It was huge! Damn, they didn’t want to get lost in there. At least Sasuke could get them settled in the right room to start.
