Seasoning cast iron causes a lot of smoke, which sets off the smoke detectors.

The husband's seizures are triggered by sirens and alarms.

We got the smoke cleared and the smoke detectors silenced before any harm could be done. Everything is fine including the skillet, although I momentarily considered whacking him upside the damn head with it.

What. The FUCK.

Randomly thought to check if I have any flagged posts on my main and FR blogs, because it's been an age since I last checked. Turns out there was one on my main and two on the lair. Except... the two on the lair? I can't appeal. They have the header that's supposed to mean that an actual human looked at them and decided they were sexually explicit material.

*Looks at cartoonish pictures of dragons and extremely non-sexual text*

Riiiiggghhhhttt.

I'm guessing the initial flag was from something like 'roundish vaguely erect shape' (the hatchling pose) snd/or the tags that contain the words 'breed' and 'edged' (a gene name). In any case, I highly question whether or not a human ever actually looked at them, and their sanity if someone actually did and thought this was explicit material.

I just picked up my Emotional Support Pennywhistle after not touching it in yonks. The sound that came out was... not. Tentative, too breathy, uncertain, and wrong. It's not because I'm playing quietly because these apartment walls are basically half-dissolved chalk.

I actually took the instrument out of my mouth and stared at it like it was alien for a moment.

Then I realized. I have no upper teeth. The whistle's fine. It's my mouth that's all wrong.
