Two Quick Thoughts on WSOs
I need some new LBB formal wear for one of my Sims, so I've been poking around to see what might be appropriate for a "beach wedding." @memento-sims 4t2 Aventase Male Suit is super popular and looks like a perfect summer suit. The top picture shows how the suit looks immediately after using a WSO to convert it to the LBB shape. The bottom picture is what it looks like after a lot of manual editing to give the body shape conversion a more natural look. I haven't tested in game yet, so it'll probably require more tweaking.
I'm sharing this to point out two things:
WSOs are awesome. Like, seriously awesome. They enrich our games with variety and we are lucky to have them. But most of the time they are just a starting point, especially for more complicated meshes. If you are learning how to use them, know that most of the time your mesh will need some additional tweaking. Which brings me to my next point...
Anyone who converts suits, jackets, coats, or any other type of layered mesh to different body shapes (and some creators convert meshes to MANY different body shapes at the same time), you are a hero because these things often need a lot of reshaping and they test my patience.
So thank you for all that you do, WSO users and body shape creators! Off to test this suit in-game now.
