She left letters for me,
Tainted with sweat from hard work and pain,
Tied in a ribbon of routine.
With ink droplets of change,
And sealed with hope.
Knowing one day,
I would need what she wrote.
The me years before by Signed, NSE
My heart craves darkness.
My soul craves light.
How must I win this battle I'm forced to fight?

Chapter 3
The fire was going strong. The wind blowing slightly. Remi sat on the pile of rubble and debris, his head firmly sat on his legs, arms crossed keeping it all together. The girl sat opposite of him. She was wrapped in a cotton blanket. She stared at the fire then up at Remi.
"Is this what you do every night?"
Remi stared daggers at her.
"Yeah, got a problem?"
She sighed and placed her head on her palm.
"Oh no sir, no problems at all. It's just this feels, calming. It reminds me of the fun I'd have at bonfires and barbecues. Are you sure you've never gone to a barbecue?"
He sighed
"I'm 100% sure. We've gone over this like 5 times."
With that answer it meant the conversation was over. But the girl was more intent on talking.
"Sir, haven't you ever wondered where I came from? I only popped up because of that nice woman."
He chuckled.
"You've asked me this 15 times in the past week."
She blushed and hid in her blanket.
"I-I just thought that maybe if I told you about me than maybe we can get to know each other, maybe we can see if you actually did do some things I did when I was home. You've never had a birthday, never gone to a birthday, a barbecue, school, fair, and you've never had a friend before. Don't you, I don't know, want to know about it?"
He shook his head.
"On with it then."
The girl beamed. She grinned and rubbed her hands together.
"Well it all happened on June 13, 1970"
It was the end of summer.
The sleepy sun gave way into the obscere moon as she wrapped herself up in golden wheat sweaters.
The wind had become a howling wolf in the distance, sending a shiver up the near by spines of focused tree's.
And as the trees shook it's leaves collided into a downward dancing spiral.
The sky looming over head, had spilled alittle too much red wine over its canvas, reminding the world of the bitter sweet existance of fall.
And as if that wasn't enough of a sign that she was on her way, the days leading up to our sweet Autumns divine was sang about by crows.
Humanity, then begans pulling out their chilly weather clothes.
Tea cups turn to coffee pots and morning cereal gets replaced by something hot.
The entire world knows whats coming.
As saddness for a old chapter to end, the exitement for what we can't comprehend takes over.
And in the blue freightening night, we pick up a candle to hold tight and tell summer we'll see her soon again.
