It was a very snowy day!
Both the sari scarf and the base scarf are from the Wrapunzel shop.

Veil Shops I Support
One of the most frequently asked questions I get as a veiled pagan is where I shop. Here is a (running) list of the stores I patronize:
Wrapunzel - A small, Jewish woman owned business in Baltimore, MD. Global shipping. Check out: 2-in-1s, Israeli tichels, the shapers.
Haute Hijab - A medium sized, Muslim woman owned business in New York City. Global shipping. Check out: printed hijabs, sport hijabs, hijab magnets, silk underscarf.
AzelefaCo - A small, Muslim woman owned business in Toronto, Canada. Global shipping. I haven’t ordered from them yet, they’re next on my list.
Little Tichel Lady - A small, Jewish woman owned business in Los Angeles, CA. Global shipping. Check out: pretieds, hats, shapers, leatherette scarves.
Harmony Headwraps - A small, Jewish woman owned business in the UK (not sure where exactly). Global shipping. I just placed my first order, it should be here in mid-December.
More to be added as I shop. I do buy scarves from other places, but these are reputable shops specifically for veils.
So at some point a couple years ago, my exhaustion got so bad that I largely stopped convering my hair unless I had a hat, and during that time my scarves went missing, and I just wearily sort of accepted it.
But recently I've been particularly missing it and yesterday my new scarf from Wrapunzel arrived! It was reassuring how quickly I got it wrapped, haven't lost that skill at least! 🥰
I also got a little "pre-wrapped" scarf, which is just a long tube that gets gathered at the end and tucked up, if I'm really not feeling a proper scarf for whatever reason.
It just feels so NICE. The world feels a little more right and I feel a little less isolated here with only one shul that was actively unwelcoming to us.
Now I just have to remind myself how to do some of the prettier wraps again...

I decided to try covering my whole head for veiling on occasion, mainly when I don't feel like styling my hair. (I don't veil with the intention of hiding my hair specifically.)
It's something I'll have to get used to and I'm sure I'll feel anxiety if I decide to leave the house like this but so far I like it. It feels like a nice hug on my head! I got the scarf and volumizer from Wrapunzel.
I'm not sure I like how this volumizer looks on me, but I don't know what would look better. I'll have to keep experimenting with it.
I'm very insecure about my thinning hair, so I decided to try out covering it instead and I love 🥰
It’s a stormy day in Maine where we have a nor’easter blowing through, so wanted to brighten it up by wearing one of my watercolor 2 in 1s. 🤗
