I am so proud of my city! Toronto hosted World Pride 2014 this year and I think this city did a great job. This was my first attendance at any pride festival and it was amazing. It was an enlightening experience to say the least. My mother and I went with my sister and her girlfriend in support of her recently coming out. I also have several gay friends and I wanted to come out and support them. I also am just a huge fan of equality and rights for everyone. So I really enjoyed this event.
Everyone was so friendly, warm and full of love. Even when it was crowded and hot, everyone was still polite.
I love that pride gives people an opportunity to just be themselves no matter what sexual orientation they are . It allows peole to be open their sexuality and lifestyle. Everything from trans gendered to asexual to those are into leather and whips were represented. I loved all of it. I saw a huge biker looking guy with a set of beautiful tits and wearing a leather thong and giant fake eyelashes. It was amazing. Hey, if that makes you happy then go for it.
Seriously it was an eye opening exhilarating experience.
