âTherefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.â ââHebrews⏠â12âŹ:â28âŹ-â29⏠âESVâŹâŹ Isnât great to believe how much reliable God and His Word is? He cannot be shaken and for that it is established that we are to offer Him acceptable worship â not worship that is below standard. Whatâs the standard then? All of us. In everything we that we do (1 Corinthians 10:31). #Worship #worthship #bibleverse https://www.instagram.com/p/ClZzyGQhRYb/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Worthship - Who is Worthy of Your Worship?
The English word for worship is from the old English word worthship. That is how worship was first explained to me and it has stuck with me. Â It is recognizing the Lordâs worthiness to receive our esteem, honor, praise - our worship. Â Worship is recognizing & honoring who He is - his character and attributes.
Worship is heartfelt adoration towards the Lord that can be expressed in silence, song, loud praise, or quiet prayer; it can be expressed in so many different ways. It can be done any time and any where and should be done throughout your day.
Here is an example: during a stressful situation, stop and worship Him for being the Prince of Peace and thank Him for bringing peace in your live.
âPeace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]â
John 4:23-24 tells us that true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; which means spirit to spirit and with not superficial words or actions. We need to approach God with complete openness with our spirits being guided by the Holy Spirit. True worship must be according to His word in response to the truth that is revealed in the Son and received through the Holy Spirit.
With worship comes gratitude, thanksgiving, and joy. When we worship, our hearts and spirits connect with Godâs Spirit. In that connectedness, in His presence, we find fullness of joy. Worship is a place of peace, rest, joy and exhilaration. Â As we worship, we are responding with love towards Him because He first loved us.
I do not consider myself a "worship expert," but I do love to worship God; live in that place of peace in Him and be filled with fullness of joy in His presence.
âOh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.â Or in other words give it a try.

The photographic âfieldworkâ of Tassos Vrettos among the makeshift places of worship of migrants and refugees in and around Athens is presented for the first time at the Pireos St Annexe of the Benaki Museum.
The photographer records an invisible network within the city: basements and rented flats, apartment blocks and garages, playing fields and outdoor public spaces, squares and courtyards, structures made at hoc in temporary or permanent addresses for groups of Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, Spiritualists and Christians of various denominations and multiple ethnic origins (Ethiopian, Afghan, Egyptian, Pakistani, Nigerian, Senegalese, etc.). It is a âwork in progressâ that began in 2012 with the collaboration of these communitiesâ members themselves and with the utmost respect for their identities.
The love that follows us sometime is our trouble, which still we thank as love.

Anyone who leads people to worship God should be armed not only with skills and all the ornamentations but most importantly, you carry God's Word with you ON and OFF stage.
