We have the free will to choose which cup to fill. Anger was instilled into my DNA from birth. But God provided the option of peace for me. He tells me, "Be angry, yet do not sin." I didn't get that until 2020 arrived. Peace, come to me. I keep searching for you, so desperately. You keep escaping the tips of my fingers. Oh peace, oh peace, where are you? It's not out there, at home, or in me. I can only find it God, the one who is slow to anger, the one whose mercies are new every day--the one who sees me falling 7 times, but He is jubilant every single time I get up. He doesn't rejoice in my missteps, in my mistakes. He tells me, "It's okay. I am not human to think like them. I know your heart, not them.
