Today is World IBD Day. Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis effects so many people each and every day. Since being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease two years ago, I have had my share of ups and downs-treatments that worked for a little bit then stopped working, unexplainable symptoms, lots of doctors visits, a few hospital visits, joint pain, extreme fatigue, expensive medicine, skin issues and other issues that every Crohn's patient has to deal with. I have been pretty open about my journey with Crohn's Disease and this verse has gotten me through some pretty hard times. As I start my new treatment on Tuesday, all I hope is to start to feel better again. Its a simple wish but so hard to come by. Crohn's Disease is an invisible disease that affects each and everyday of my life and every aspect of my life. I have a wonderful support team that gets me through it.
