I am back for another year of backgrounds I am sharing.

For this month, This was taking in January 2025 right after a snow in Keansburg, NJ.

I don’t know about you but there is something magical about seeing snow on the beach :)

Why did you ave to be so weird!?

I felt liked I was starting off the month strong then by the 5th, I was sick in bed with a sinus infection. I 10/10 do no recommend this at all. That literally de-railed my plans for the next two weeks. On top of that, my parents were both sick and saying away from them and Marina dude was hard.

I did finally get into the holiday spirit towards the middle of the month but this December did not feel like other Decembers have in the past.

If I am being honest, I was so happy when Christmas was finally over. I am not sure if being sick played a part in this or if I am just losing my excitement for Christmas and it being so materialistic. Which makes me sound like a total grinch. At this point in my life, I don’t need more things, I need time. And good health.

As I write this, I am in Florida for vacation that I didn’t know I needed so much. As I sit on the balcony overlooking the bay, on a Monday, I am so thankful i survived this year.

To be honest, this year was probably one of the hardest years of my life. Mentally, physically and emotionally. Every month seemed to bring a new worry, a new illness and a new case for concern. Don’t get me wrong, there were a lot of days that were full of joy and laughter and fun but there was a lot of tears, sadness and worry. I made it through this year and to quote Shaboozy, “Man what a hell of a year it’s been”

Every time I think back to this year, I start to tear up. I am so grateful for everything that has happened this year but gosh, I wish God didn’t think that I was THIS strong. I am going into this next year with the same gusto as i did this current year, hoping and praying it won’t be so hard on me.

December is here and for the final month, I have a moody sunrise taken on the Toms River last year.
