Mimic Wasps- A species of burrowing carnivorous wasps that create hives that resemble the Fireater Pipes. While it's easy to distinguish the Mimic Hives under close scrutiny, a surveyor in a rush or who isn't paying attention can quickly fall victim to these aggressive insects.
Fireater Pipes- A fungus that grows near the Worldfire. The Mycelium stretches all throughout the nation of Union. The Pipes themselves sprout whenever a Worldfire starts, filtering nutrients from the thick smoke in the air. When the Worldfire burns the Pipes, the currents created by the high temperatures carries the inflammable spores all around. Then, the Mycelium hibernates until the next Worldfire. Those who have taken and eaten the fungus from the Pipes report it being lightly spicy and acidic. It appears to be large pipes that grow from the ground with white flesh and a blood red set of gills splitting the stalk.

Worldfire. How can you not love this name? I absolutely love the flavor and mechanics of this spell. It is red through and through, throwing caution to the wind and just completely blowing everything up, even putting yourself in critical condition. There is no regard for subtlety, board states, hand size, life total, or card advantage. It puts even the longest game into a sudden death situation. The problem I have with this card is how mismatched the flavor text is. I wouldn't mind the flavor text for a small spell like Spark Jolt, for example, because it makes us think that this tiny one damage might lead up to something big in the future. This seemingly unthreatening spark could be the difference between victory and defeat. But Worldfire is a huge, expensive, flashy spell that changes the entire game state. You can't be talking about sparks when we are dealing with a plane-spanning inferno. I reworked this one from scratch. To me, mythic rares represent spells that only the most powerful, elite planeswalkers know. This is one such spell. Any neophyte can cast a Searing Spear, directing fire towards a single target. But the height of a pyromancer's craft is that they can burn not just anything, but everything...all at once. This includes things that can't normally burn, like oceans, mountains...even entire worlds. The power in such an idea is not just the act of burning everything, but what that represents to red - complete freedom from all laws, including the laws of nature itself. That is the true essence of red magic.
