Custom Card Highlight: Allegrian Summoner
This card was made by Aserty, for the set The Festival of Colors, a set that takes place in a Venetian carnival plane where the entire city is a party.
In line with the name of the set, most of its mechanics care about colors. Number of colors among permanents you control, what color a permanent is, how many colors a certain permanent is, etc. One of those mechanics is Colormorph. Building off of Morph, Colormorph lets you play a card face down as a 2/2 colorless creature for 3 mana. You can then flip it face up but you put a color counter on it when you do, adding an additional color to that card.
Allegrian Summoner is a creature that lets you look at some cards from your library and then put any number of permanents among theminto the battlefield for free. Notably, the number of cards you get to see is determined from the number of colors among permanents you control. With enough set up, you could cast this card for 5 mana and get to see 5 cards, but if you're running short of one of the five colors, you can colormorph this card to complete the color pie for 7 mana and get to see 5 cards that way.

This was an idea made out of frustration towards the confused Redditors (and a bit of misinfo floating around) who did not know that Hellscube had shifted from designing cards for Hellscube 9 (vintage-power cube with purple) to Sands of Hell (desert cube with draft mana in place of putting more lands in the cube). I hope this gives an adequate explanation of what draft mana is and how it works.
Design notes: This was previously a lot more on the nose, using the frame from Spongebob where Squidward is yelling at Spongebob and Patrick for what I presume is going into his house and interrupting him during his free time uninvited, and had "Protection from anyone who hasn't drafted Hellscube before", which would mean nothing if you drafted the set or any of the other Hellscubes previously of course.
Educator was suggested by someone else as a riff on Annihilator, but I didn't get why they gave it a numeral then so I left it out.
