Here's my official Tumblr blog inauguration! Since I have a couple of other blogs to take care of (http://www.gustavoreis.blog.br and http://www.gustavoreis.com/blog - both in Portuguese, sorry!), it is unlikely that I will be updating yet another blog on a regular basis, but I wanted to have the opportunity to publicly thank world-shaker for introducing me, from his post (the first one to share this video on Tumblr, as far as I know!), to this wonderful world. The video is from my TEDxUnisinos talk back in November 2012. It has been subtitled in English and, as of today, has been viewed over 60K times in less than 3 months. I hope it serves the purpose of inspiring people who are evaluating the possibility to become teachers in the future. From my personal experience, I can give my testimonial that there's no way you'll enjoy doing something else as much as you'll love teaching. I truly hope you'll enjoy it. World-shaker blew up my blog today. I had to be a sleuth and investigate the point of origin, but yup. It was him.

The morning of day 2 was pretty boring actually. After my shower and breakfast we had to go to this deans welcome and convocation thing. Once we split up and were in our First Year Experience classes, it became more interesting. There are so many attractive men on this campus, it is just ridiculous. So in FYE we just asked questions, they explained a few things and we talked over the summer reading. We got to see Zesty talk! Which is always entertaining because he is hilarious and uses .gifs/pictures. He still gets the information that needs to be out there said, but he does it in a fun and entertaining way that we can relate to.  After that, we played frisbee in a little circle grass hill surrounded by sidewalks in front of the student center. Then 2 other guys joined us and we needed more room so we went to a bigger field. We played until it was dark and then headed over to the cyber café. We played Uno and Apples to Apples, meeting some new people and a random guy that joined us. Now my roommate and I are just relaxing in our dorm instead of seeing the movie because we were tired (which is becoming a habit)
