I thought I know all notebook devices from IBM but this one is new for me. Workpad z50 is a subnotebook with 131-MHz MIPS CPU, a trackpoint and built-in Windows CE 3.0. IBM tried to enter the market of WinCE devices in 1999 with this small “ThinkPad”. It lasted less than a year for IBM to realize that this was a mistake and the product was discontinued.
