A peak Louisiana experience that I must share with you all:
While visiting one of the funeral homes we work with in St Amant, I was offered a donut before I headed out to my next appointment. When I politely refused, claiming that I was already bringing a few extra pounds home with me from this trip, the funeral director laughed. "Oh, now darlin', by Louisiana standards you're still a good five biscuits away from fat!"
And honestly? Just put that on my tombstone.

I've been pretty absent from social media lately, but that's because I've been really busy—which I'm grateful for because I had a tough winter financially—but everything's getting sorted out now 🙏🏼.
