I found this beautiful variegated yarn at a local fiber festival a couple months ago and now I've decided I want to make a mini-cape out of it. I'm indecisive as ever, but I've managed to narrow my options down to a few patterns: Simple Hooded Cowl Capelet (simple enough to make the different colors pop) Alakant (fancy Victorian collar, uses less yarn so I could potentially make matching fingerless gloves if I have enough left over) Aventail Hooded Cowl (another hooded capelet but with ribbing, has a nice shape)

A cute little brooch I made for my lovely friend Kodak (a camp name not birth name haha). Sadly I had to get a flight on the exact same day as her birthday so didn't get to spend it with her, but hopefully next year I won't have to leave!

Finished the sweater just in time for sweater weather! I got a kit and the colors turned out beautifully--I love how the variegated yarn looks like fall foliage

A while ago my lovely friends announced their engagement and it was the perfect reason for me to make this cute little couple for them! They were even present at the wedding! Sitting on top of their equivalent of a guest book (a vinyl record for everyone to sign) BUT a dastardly criminal committed a heinous crime and literally tore the little felty couple apart. Pictured below, right, the crime, left, the criminal.

But luckily she was so cute that she was found innocent of all crimes and officially declared a "very good girl". The raccoon has since gone in for reconstructive surgery and is now back better than ever. Now with added toe beans! She will be returning home to her partner (and living on a higher shelf) when I come back from Canada later this month.
