So... I had a thought about Gameoverse regarding... Kaboodle.
This is a stretch.
Based on design choices, I think Kaboodle...
Might have formerly been Syntax.
OKAY, HEAR ME OUT. There are a few very basic points to my theory, revolving around Fold.
FIRST, their designs, mainly their eyes, have strong similarity in style.
They are both monocular, with a magenta colored iris. And something about their style gives a different aesthetic than Gobbles or Kit or Flappers but similar to each other.
I think these two came from the same game world and infiltrated Kit's.
Fold seems particularly wary of Kit *because* she has Kaboodle, as if he has a history with him.
When I see these two, I immediately think:
Gobbles himself is from a learning oriented kids computer game, which is also a theme in the Dora the Explorer tv show. So my theory is that Fold and Kaboodle were both pieces of gear belonging to a protagonist on another game world, maybe Dora-like, maybe not. When this world was destroyed, Kaboodle and Fold joined Syntax, eventually infiltrating Kit's game world and aiding her from two separate angles. But after bonding with Kit, or maybe just seeing the destruction Syntax was causing, Kaboodle changed sides. Or maybe he's still a double agent, who knows?
