Is Monday over yet? Before I knock TF out (YES, this insomniac will get some sleep tonight for a change), I can’t forget the real ones that read and miss when I don’t share them, so… Today’s list of Grats… 1. 1st day of school (real school with real people since March 13, 2020) - my kids were cool 😎, I was the complete mess. Yeah, #WombFruit 3 and 4 had to help me keep it together, but we managed. 2. Then there's HIM… After an emotional start to my day, he did it again; he never gave me what I wanted but somehow still managed to provide me with exactly what I need. THE AUDACITY It’s bittersweet. I have a love/hate relationship with knowing how much he gets me, but I’ll forever be fucking grateful because he does. 3. A writer asked to interview me regarding my thoughts 💭 on the lack of inclusion of BIPOC in the cannabis industry for an article on Leafly… it posted today. If anything, it’s the exact opposite, which is why I’m sharing today’s Grats: Today I am grateful for… 1. Becoming the mom of an eight-year-old for the fourth time 🥰 2. Go-Karting 🏎 💨 3. Chocolate Cake 🎂 4. I chose peace and calm in what I once thought would be an impossible situation, but I was the bigger person, and I chose just to let that shit go. 5. My ex and his sister came through. I’m grateful that they showed up for my #Wombfruit’s day. I couldn’t ignore the joy on his face or how happy he was when he met his cousin. Full Disclosure: I won’t pretend that a part of me didn’t want to scream, “what about the other seven birthdays” but that would’ve only ruined his day, and it’s not about me. 6. This time tomorrow, I’ll be in my happy place. The countdown begins. 7.
